Jonny Maxwell
Co-Founder, Member of the Private Equity Investment Committee
Jonny is a Member of the Praesidium Private Equity Investment Committee.
Jonny used to be the CEO of Allianz Private Equity Fund of Funds Group until 2009 and Chairman of the Global Investment Committee.
He founded and endorsed the position of CEO of Standard Life Investments Private Equity for 17 years growing the Private Equity business to €5.6bn, representing 130 investors in 25 countries and investing in 72 funds and 18 direct investments globally.
Jonny has a broad experience of Committee, Board, and Senior Advisory roles derived from several Private Equity managers.
He has been active in philanthropic affairs as Chairman of the Muir Maxwell Trust, a charity he started supporting children with epilepsy, as Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
He holds a BA in Law at the University of Strathclyde and an MBA at the University of Edinburgh Business School.
