Carlo Alberto Valentini
Head of Operations & Conducting Officer Portfolio Management
Carlo serves as Head of Operations at Praesidium and Conducting Officer for Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining Praesidium, Carlo held the Valuation Manager position with Astorg Asset Management since 2022. In this role, he oversaw the valuation of the flagship funds and supported the Investor Relations team for fundraising.
Before this position, Carlo spent a large part of his career with other Private Equity asset managers in Luxembourg. He worked for Neuberger Berman Europe, overseeing the valuation and reporting process for direct Private Equity and co-investment funds. Prior to this, he worked at EOS Investment Management.
Carlo started his career at the World Bank Group in the Investment function based in Washington DC. His role was primarily involved in valuation and performance reporting for several investment strategies focused on traditional investments.
Carlo holds an MBA from Clark University with a major in investment and global business in the US. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics from LUISS University.
Carlo speaks Italian and English.
