Katrin Brökelmann
Partner, COO, Member of the Agri-FoodTech & Private Equity Investment Committees
Katrin has over 25 years of industry experience as an investment professional in Private Equity and Venture Capital. At Praesidium, she is the Co-Managing Partner of the Firm, overseeing the governance and day-to-day operations of the Firm. She also plays a key role in the investment decisions for both Agri-FoodTech and Private Equity investments.
She was a Co-founder and Partner of Pinova Capital, a German Private Equity firm investing in high-growth, technology-based SMEs. Prior to this, Katrin worked as an Investment Director at 3i in Germany and Switzerland, focusing on Venture, Growth Capital and Buyout transactions in Technology, Media, Lifesciences and Business Services.
During her career, Katrin served on numerous boards of startups and SMEs.
She started her career at McKinsey in Berlin and was a Partner at Triago, a leading global Private Equity placement agent, responsible for both fundraising and GP sourcing with a focus on the German speaking markets.
Katrin holds a Master’s Degree in International Management and Diplom-Kffr. from ESCP Europe and a BA from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Katrin is fluent in English, French, Italian and German.
