Luc has longstanding experience in business development and startup management in agriculture & food biotechnology.
He is the CEO of Meiogenix, a biotech company developing breeding technologies to unlock the unexplored genetic diversity of organisms.
He is also board member of Micropep, an agriculture biotech company and founding CEO of Symflor, a Cornell microbiome company. Most recently, Luc has been CBO of Global Bioenergies.
Previously, Luc was the CEO of Calyxt (NASDAQ:CLXT) – a leading company in gene editing for agriculture, which listed on Nasdaq under his stewardship.
Luc is Head of the Bioeconomy section at France Biotech and Member of the Business Development committee
He holds a PhD in Biology from the Pasteur Institute (France) and did post-doctoral studies at Caltech (USA). He also holds several patents in the Agro-industrial space
