- Luc has longstanding experience in business development and startup management in agriculture & food biotechnology
- He is the CEO of Meiogenix, a biotech company developing breeding technologies to unlock the unexplored genetic diversity of organisms
- He is also board member of Micropep, an agriculture biotech company and founding CEO of Symflor, a Cornell microbiome company. Most recently, Luc has been CBO of Global Bioenergies
- Previously, Luc was the CEO of Calyxt (NASDAQ:CLXT) – a leading company in gene editing for agriculture, which listed on Nasdaq under his stewardship
- Luc is Head of the Bioeconomy section at France Biotech and Member of the Business Development committee
- He holds a PhD in Biology from the Pasteur Institute (France) and did post doctoral studies at Caltech (USA). He holds a number of patents in the Agro-industrial space
- Luc speaks English and French
