Marc Bonavitacola
Partner, Chief Investment Officer, Member of the Private Equity Investment Committee
Marc has over 35 years of experience in Private Equity. At Praesidium, he serves as the CIO, overseeing the Firm’s Private Equity investment activities.
Prior to Praesidium, Marc was Head of US Private Equity for SVG Advisers and Aberdeen Asset Management. He also became a Member of the Investment Committees for US, Europe and Asia and was responsible for the diligence of 100+ US primary funds and secondary interests totaling over US$ 3 billion in commitments.
Before that, he was Managing Director at Hamilton Lane and a member of the Investment Committee.
His first relevant experience though was his position as Chief Investment Officer of the Philadelphia Public Employees Retirement System (US$ 5.1 billion in assets).
Marc has an MBA at LeBow School of Business at Drexel University and got a BBA from Fox School of Business at Temple University (Philadelphia).
He is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.
